Choosing Between Medium and Large
The Medium Box Chair is a more compact version of the original Ungloo Box Chair. It’s designed for people who sit cross-legged easily, prefer a closer fit, or want something slightly smaller and easier to store.
The Large Box Chair is the original size. It gives you more room to adjust your legs, hips, and sitting position, which can be helpful if your knees sit higher, your hips feel tighter, or you simply prefer more space.
Choose Medium if you sit cross-legged easily and prefer a compact fit.

What’s the Same
Both sizes include the same backrest pad, floor pad, and leg wedges. The leg wedges are adjustable and can be used at different angles to create three different support heights, depending on your body and how you like to sit.
Both chairs are designed to support an upright, relaxed meditation posture while still giving you room to make small adjustments.
What’s Different
The main differences are the box size, the sitting height, and the way the front panel attaches.
The Large Box Chair uses the original sliding front panel design. The front panel slides off and fits into the backrest slot during setup. The new Large version also includes magnets to help keep the sliding panel secure when the box is closed.
The Medium Box Chair uses a removable front panel that pops off and is held in place with magnets. This creates a simpler, more compact panel design while keeping the same basic setup concept.

Several years ago, I purchased a gray Ungloo meditation box (The original). And, tragedy of tragedies, I put it in a corner of my room never used. You see, I had an Alexia meditation seat($300-$400) That I thought was the Cadillac of meditation seats. Turns out I was wrong. The built-in back rest on the Alexia is just a lip and not enough to give me the support I needed. I always pushed it against the wall or the bed to give me more of a sturdy back rest. Fast-forward, I recently signed up for a community meditation class. It occurred to me that I could bring my portable Ungloo box. Side note, I also noticed that Ungloo Now sold a travel case($49). So I ordered a travel case, packed up my Ungloo box and off I went to meditation class. My Ungloo box generated a lot of curiosity. But more than that, I discovered another level of comfort while meditating! I, a 68 year-old with spinal stenosis, sciatica, arthritis and osteoporosis fell in love. The Ungloo meditation box is the Rolls-Royce of meditation seats! Reasonably priced ($165/outlet-$229), it has the durability and sturdiness I needed. It is lightweight and portable. And, when seated, there is no pinching nor tightness across my lower back. The back rest gives me the support I need on my shoulder blades. Moreover, the pad and blocks give me the comfort I need from knees to ankles. I love it so much that I recently purchased a second chair from the outlet along with a second travel case. Thank you Ungloo for such wonderful products!

I love the meditation box chair. It’s just wait I needed to practice my Yogi meditation without my whole back touching the back of the chair. I have had my box for several years and my love for it only grows more with each passing year. It goes with me when I want to find a secluded spot outside and yet was there for me in the middle of a construction zone as we built our new home. I am very pleased with my Ungloo chair. I have adjusted my sitting position to maximize my comfort during meditation. The back support works very well and the seat cushion is super comfortable. Unfortunately, the chair arrived much later than I was originally told -I understand about the shipping issues, but it came with a dent on it similar to the ones sold for a cheaper price on your site. It was a birthday gift and the recipient opened it only to find it damaged. He decided to keep it as it would be a hassle to return, but as a the gift giver, I was very disappointed and a bit embarassed.

This is probably the best purchase I've made for myself in ages. The company communicated so well, it's like they were on the truck with my package. The minute it arrived, I put it together - took about 2 minutes. I set it up and I've used it at least twice a day ever since. I absolutely love my new meditation box. I used to have to use a chair because I have knee issues and also need back support. This wonderful tool checks all the boxes and my dogs love that I’m closer to the floor too🐶! The only critique I have is that the wedges to support my knees could be bigger. Because I sit up higher than the floor on the seat the wedges do not reach up under my knees to support them. I’ve worked out a screwy arrangement that is working for now but larger wedges would be preferable. However I do understand that they also have to fit back into the box. That said, I am now able to sit for meditation and take it with me!
